Despite my best efforts to cock things up by leaving the necessary HDMI cable at home, it was great to welcome around thirty existing and new members to our registration evening.

Paul Procter provided a fascinating talk, taking us through our native up-winged flies and numerous terrestrial insects. He also shared a number of his patterns, giving members plenty of inspiration for restocking their dry fly boxes during the winter months! Great to have you back Paul, and many thanks.

Next week we start our tying programme. Beginners are going through tools of the trade plus a buzzer pattern, whilst the intermediate group are tying a Silver Dabbler! Hopefully see you all there.
